In a rebuff to detractors of the Cardano network and its native token, Charles Hoskinson has announced the soon release of two significant upgrades designed to bolster the blockchain ecosystem profoundly. On April 7, amidst a backdrop of critique, Hoskinson articulated a blend of amusement and conviction, asserting, “Seeing all the dunking on Cardano makes me smile a bit. We are holding all the cards as an ecosystem. We have the best path for scalability, governance, and innovation. We also have the best community. The Chang <a href="https://bitcoinist.com/ethereum-catastrophe-key-eip-needed-hard-fork/" target="_blank" rel="noopener ">hard fork</a>, anticipated to take place in the second quarter, represents a huge step towards decentralization and community-run governance within the ADA ecosystem. This upgrade will enable ADA holders to actively participate in shaping the network’s future, marking a significant evolution in blockchain governance. 
Chang aims to introduce a framework for on-chain community consensus, laying the groundwork for a more democratic and participatory governance model. This includes the introduction of Delegate Representatives (DReps), a Cardano Constitution Convention, and a pivotal community vote on the Cardano Constitution, setting the stage for a fully decentralized governance mechanism. Ouroboros Leios: Setting New Benchmarks In Scalability 
In parallel to the governance overhaul, ADA is on the cusp of a major technological advancement with the Ouroboros Leios update.
