Cronje acknowledged that the cryptocurrency project has been diligently looking into memecoins. The goal of this step is to lay down the groundwork for a framework that the Fantom community can use to easily create, promote, and nurture memecoins. Problems with performance, according to Cronje, are technological difficulties, not defects in the consensus method.
