<p>Last year, the VeChain mainnet, run by 101 authority nodes, had a low carbon footprint of only 4.46 t CO2e/year, representing 0.0216 kWh of electricity used per transaction.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Polkadot is trading at around $8, rising from $3.6 registered earlier in the year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>DOT is down 26.1% in the last week of December 2023 but up 74% in the previous month.&nbsp;</p>
