Similarly, USDC also dropped below $1 in 2023 when it was revealed that it had connections to Silicon Valley Bank, which faced financial difficulties.
Ripple is introducing its stablecoin in the United States first. However, it’s also considering creating stablecoins for other regions, such as Europe and Asia.
<h2 id="b-will-etf-denial-be-bearish-for-ethereum-b">Will ETF Denial be Bearish for Ethereum?</h2>
Many experts believe Ethereum’s price might go up a lot if its ETF gets approved, even though it has been down during the recent market correction. But now, some reports say people are less hopeful about the approval of spot Ether ETFs because the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is looking into the Ethereum Foundation. So, will it be bearish for Ethereum if the ETF is denied?
Jupiter Zheng, head of research at Hashkey Capital, said, “If the ETF is denied, it will not be that bearish, as the market is not pricing in it yet, and we still have Bitcoin ETFs as the entrance for traditional funds.” He analyses Ethereum to be not that bearish even after the denial of the ETF. Investors are also waiting for the Bitcoin halving, which is prepared to occur this month. This event certainly can give direction to the overall crypto market.
