Swap With MDEX on CoinMarketCap

Índice

Earlier this month, CoinMarketCap made it possible for our users to swap tokens right on our site.
Before, you could only check the price of a token on CoinMarketCap before going elsewhere to swap — we’ve made it even easier for you by putting swaps right where you check your prices. You no longer will have to navigate away from CoinMarketCap’s price page, perhaps losing valuable seconds before you make your swap — and as we know, every second counts in crypto!
With the addition of MDEX swapping on CoinMarketCap, users can swap tokens using both Uniswap and MDEX, two of the most popular exchanges on CoinMarketCap.

For every supported network and token, you will be able to connect your supported crypto wallet and start swapping in a safe and secure way.

What Is MDEX?

MDEX is a decentralized trading protocol, launched in January 2021, that operates with the concept of fund pools. As an automated market maker (AMM), MDEX uses a dual-chain model on both the Ethereum network and the Huobi Ecological Chain (HECO).

MDEX claims to support a confirmation time of about three seconds, as well as low gas fees, due to the dual-chain model that takes advantage of the best parts of both the ETH and HECO networks.

What Networks, Wallets and DEXs Does CoinMarketCap Token Swap Support?

Below is a list of the currently supported DEXs, wallets and networks for CoinMarketCap’s token swaps.

Uniswap and MDEX.

Supported Wallets

At this time, wallets supported by Uniswap and MDEX will also be available for the CoinMarketCap token swap.

Uniswap: MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, Fortmatic and Portis for Uniswap swapping.

MDEX: MetaMask, TrustWallet, MathWallet, TokenPocket, WalletConnect and SafePal Wallet for MDEX swapping.

Supported Networks

How to Use Token Swaps on CoinMarketCap

First, navigate to the page of the coin that you wish to swap. You will see a converter between a selection of two coins on the right side of the page, and the option to “Swap on CoinMarketCap.”

Once you click to swap, you will be able to select the cryptos that you wish to swap and the amount. At this point, you will need to connect a wallet and sign the blockchain transaction.

Make sure that you have checked the liquidity provider fee that will be charged, the route, the price impact, the minimum received and the slippage tolerance before confirming your swap.
