0G Labs and One Piece Labs have announced the launch&nbsp;of the first incubator for entrepreneurs operating at the confluence of blockchain and AI. The goal of the OPL x 0G incubator is to find and assist bright Web3 entrepreneurs who are investigating the ways in which AI may assist crypto use cases, or vice versa. 
The design space for fusing AI with crypto&nbsp;hasn’t been well explored yet, partly because both technologies are still relatively new and because finding synergies requires in-depth understanding of both sectors. The teams want to encourage ambitious builders to come up with their own original ideas on how to merge&nbsp;the finest concepts in AI and crypto&nbsp;with each other via the OPL x 0G incubator. 
The OPL x 0G Incubator will no longer accept applications after June 14, 2024. The program will begin on July 1 and last for ten weeks. On September 12, there will be a demo day. Along with practical deployment advice from 0G on its Data Availability layer, participants will have access to a vast network of mentors and investors in the <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/binance-launches-megadrop-for-exclusive-access-to-web3-projects-with-rewards/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Web3</a> and AI domains. Lastly, 0G will provide grants to high impact teams totaling up to $50,000. 
Builders are invited to propose a wide variety of concepts that integrate AI and crypto to advance either industry. 0G and OPL highlighted a number of ideas where AI applications may support the growth of cryptocurrency use cases, such as AI DAOs, “DePIN 2.0,” and trustless prediction marketplaces. On the other hand, participants could explore Web3-native ways to enhance the security and effectiveness of AI models using Verifiable Training, Transparent LLM Drift, and other routes to Verifiable Inference. But the ultimate aim of the incubator is for participants to propose many more fascinating ideas.

The modular 0G blockchain project seeks to address the main issues in applying <a href="https://thenewscrypto.com/dubai-defies-natures-fury-global-ai-and-blockchain-shows-shine-through-adverse-weather/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">blockchain</a> technology to artificial intelligence. It promises to eventually enhance bandwidth by more than 50x compared to the present state of the art, enabling AI jobs and projects runnable on blockchain by providing a modular architecture free from old consensus methods and execution.
